Today, I got a lot of progress done. I added in the block array for storing the tile map (probably going to reduce the size of the blocks) I made it so all top blocks are grass. I added a parallax background. And last but not least I added the physics engine... Well falling at least. The rest should be a piece of cake.

I'm really quite sorry about not posting in forever. It was finals weeks, and I really needed to finish homework. Happily though, I got a 111% on my physics final. :)

So I once again decided that my new game void, would be too big for vita (for now). So instead I wanted to work on something REALLY small. In fact it's so small that it's a tile-map side scroller game called Exposure. I just started it last night, and worked out some kinks, like using an array instead of a list. (helps a lot).

Anyway, in the game you have 3 abilities that you can use. You can then get various upgrades by picking up random object that monsters randomly drop. You can also buy objects from shops that sell them. To get on to a new level, you have to find 3 parts to the vehicle you arrived in. Upon getting a part you will be greeted by a boss. Beat the boss to get the item as well as a reward. When you fix the vehicle you will go to the next stage. All of which are randomly picked.

The reason the game is called exposure, is because the rain in the game is acidic, and its raining... like everywhere... So you kinda have to go from cover to cover. The planet is about to explode so you are trying to get to the evacuation ships before that happens, all while another alien race is trying to hunt you and all of your kin down. Makes for some great game play! :D

Three games at a time?!?! What have I gotten myself into.

No progress at all today. But that's because I had way too much homework. Why do teachers give all this work only 2 weeks before finals?

As I completed rotation and movement today I managed to fix up some bugs. Thanks to my awesome dad, I finally got the rotation down! :D Thanks dad! I ended up overlooking a variable that wasn't constant.

Sadly, not much progress today due to massive amounts of homework. But I'm still working. I got a little bit done on rotation, but it's not quite finished and is very buggy. I'll finish it up soon.

Looking forward to squashing some bugs!

I mentioned yesterday that I would be starting a new game for PlayStation Mobile. Partly because I'm going to sell it and get a new graphics card for my computer and partly because I need funds for living.

Here's how the game goes:

It's another space set game, but you take control of your own ship that you build from a top down perspective, block by block.

The characters have a very similar system to the movie In Time

-Build your own ship from a top down perspective, block by block.

-The currency is called Void.

-Every in game hour, your character is deducted 100 Void.

-If you die from lack of health you will re-spawn on your ship but loose 30% of your Void.

-If your ship blows up you re-spawn in a random location with an escape pod.

-To get more void you must defeat space pirates.

-There are 3 Factions at war: The Federation, The Rebels, and the Criminals. (+ random other pirates)

-If you die from lack of Void, it's game over.

-You don't have to choose a faction.

-If you Destroy all Factions, the Faction you are in Wins as well as you winning. OR if you are a freelance that doesn't belong to a Faction and kills everything I guess only you win.

To keep my progress on my games, I made this site to motivate me to update EVERY day.

Recently I have Started working on another project. One set aside from Abandoned. This game is called Void. Currently being developed as a PlayStation Mobile Application. I am going to try and make it small so that I may just sell it make some money and then get back to Abandoned.

Abandoned is currently stopped but I might resume it later. I'm going to post progress here as much as I can to keep everyone up to date.
